Rodrigo Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Assunção having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Moutinhosa FC's zone, Amadeu Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Pacheco came out of the goal and Amadeu Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute of the match, Vítor Anjos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bruno Pacheco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sandro Alves struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Mariano Assunção didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moutinhosa FC. Amadeu Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Vítor Anjos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Pacheco. That made the score 1-0 in the 44 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vítor Anjos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Moutinhosa FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Vasco Esteves hit a great ball. If Amadeu Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Mariano Assunção tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeu Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Cardoso in the 72nd minute of play. Moutinhosa FC's Bruno Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Anjos in the 76th minute of play. If Amadeu Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Anjos in the 81st minute of play. António Gaspar's late challenge caught a Moutinhosa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. António Gaspar helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Baroso FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Moutinhosa FC:s goal. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Moutinhosa FC. António Teixeira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mariano Assunção. 1-1. If Rodrigo Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Sandro Alves fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mariano Assunção, passed just outside the right post. 92 minutes into the match, Moutinhosa FC's Rodrigo Ferro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mariano Assunção narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Amadeu Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baroso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Pacheco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
