Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Miguel Aleixo made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute Miguel Aleixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Anjos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albertino Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Anjos having to interfere. Manuel Anjos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Aleixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Paranhas's zone, Albertino Pinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Anjos came out of the goal and Albertino Pinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nuno Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuno Campos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Albertino Pinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Manuel Anjos made a huge save. Abel Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nuno Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Joaquim Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Alberto Bessa in the 39th minute really tested Manuel Anjos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 43rd minute, Abel Veiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paranhas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuno Nogueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paranhas's Abel Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, SC Sendas's goalkeeper Nuno Campos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Veiga. Nuno Nogueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Campos having to make a save. Manuel Anjos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Pinto in the 66th minute of play. If Albertino Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes Paranhas got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gueifão. In the 77th minute Albertino Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Anjos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes, Alberto Gueifão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paranhas and the SC Sendas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Paranhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Gueifão to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Paranhas's Nuno Nogueira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nuno Campos. Nuno Campos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Nogueira in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuno Campos saved SC Sendas from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Nogueira in the 92nd minute of play forced SC Sendas's goalkeeper Nuno Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Campos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Veiga in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Albertino Pinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Sendas's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertino Pinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Anjos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
