Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fábio Lopes made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th match minute, SC Carnota was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, SC Mosqueiro's Humberto Coimbra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 7th minute Francisco Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Santos in the 11th minute of the match. Cristiano Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, SC Mosqueiro's Humberto Coimbra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fábio Lopes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. SC Carnota's Raul Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Lopes in the 18th minute of play. Francisco Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Paulo Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fábio Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Dantas having to interfere. Fernando Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Mosqueiro's Humberto Aguiar got a free kick in the 34th minute. Humberto Aguiar's late challenge caught a SC Carnota's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. Humberto Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Fernando Coimbra took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raul Dantas. Raul Dantas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when José Santos made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, SC Mosqueiro's Lourenço Monteiro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raul Dantas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Fernando Coimbra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raul Dantas was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. SC Mosqueiro's Paulo Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Santos in the 59th minute of play. Gustavo Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Barbosa got free with Paulo Leite in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Santos hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. José Santos was in a good position and ended up with the ball after SC Carnota's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Lúcio Borges was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Mosqueiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Carnota the free kick. Lúcio Borges hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes SC Carnota got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Faro. After 79 played minutes, SC Mosqueiro's Humberto Coimbra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raul Dantas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Mosqueiro reached it. Paulo Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Santos in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fábio Lopes in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Dantas saved SC Carnota from getting behind. Francisco Barbosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Leite. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Barbosa ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Carnota's José Santos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Leite. That made the score 2-1 after 88 minutes of play. In the 92nd minute, Fernando Coimbra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the SC Carnota defense, Fábio Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raul Dantas. The SC Carnota fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Dantas should have stopped the shot. SC Carnota's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
