Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fernando Freitas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lúcio Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th match minute, Padeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Mendes to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Grovas's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Coelho came free, but Domingos Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Grovas getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. António Cabral hit a great ball. In the 12th minute of the match Alexandre Ribeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingos Lopes skillfully saved the ball. When Cristiano Vale came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Grovas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Vale couldn't finish the play. Fernando Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Domingos Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Bento Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Bento Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. António Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Bento Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Grovas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Cabral to maneuver through the defense. If Fernando Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Lopes came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Padeirinha's Fernando Freitas. But to his dismay, Fernando Freitas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristiano Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Eusébio Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Pedroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Cristiano Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Delfim Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Grovas's zone, Bento Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Lopes came out of the goal and Bento Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delfim Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lúcio Pedroso struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Delfim Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grovas. In the 86th minute, Manuel Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Cristiano Vale put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Delfim Vaz. 95 minutes into the match, Cristiano Vale notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Padeirinha's Delfim Vaz. Delfim Vaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
