A collision led to Chaim FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. André Esteves hit a great ball. If Inácio Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Baloutas FC's Vicente Fonseca got a free kick in the 17th minute. Gonçalo Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Basílio Mota made a huge save. Baloutas FC's David Moniz got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Baloutas FC booed when Chaim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. If David Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baloutas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Inácio Ramos scored to the left of an out of position Basílio Mota, making the score, 1-0. Inácio Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basílio Mota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inácio Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, Baloutas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Ramos came free, but Basílio Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Moniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Gonçalo Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chaim FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basílio Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonçalo Carneiro scored 2-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basílio Mota, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Duarte Fontes made a kick off. David Moniz struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Paulo Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baloutas FC. If Duarte Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, David Moniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baloutas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Moniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duarte Fontes in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Duarte Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Paulo Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Baloutas FC booed when Chaim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armindo Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th match minute, Chaim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Aleixo to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Mota charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe Mota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Baloutas FC got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Mota. 87 minutes into the match, Chaim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Fontes came free, but Paulo Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Baloutas FC's Amílcar Costa got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Daniel Correia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basílio Mota showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Baloutas FC's attack was well implemented in the 93rd minute, but when Duarte Fontes was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Baloutas FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chaim FC.
