Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gafete's Pedro Guarda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joaquim Neves struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Pedro Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sorgacosa. In the 7th minute Pedro Guarda suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Armindo Luz's late challenge caught a Gafete's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armindo Luz helped the player get up and apologised. Armindo Luz hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Gafete's Daniel Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristiano Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Pedro Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sorgacosa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Neves in the 16th minute of play forced Gafete's goalkeeper Pedro Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes in the game, Joaquim Neves fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pedro Reis having to interfere. Joel Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Daniel Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Heitor Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Morais having to interfere. Daniel Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Neves made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Sorgacosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Vale to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Morais having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Filipe Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Daniel Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Brito in the 71st minute of play. Joaquim Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Pedro Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sorgacosa's Filipe Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Neves in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Daniel Rodrigues fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Joaquim Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Pedro Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
