Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when João Rodrigues got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Artur Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soalheira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vítor Setúbal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Rodrigues's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute, Gil Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Queirós in the 8th minute of the match. If Artur Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Setúbal having to interfere. In the 24thth minute of the game José Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soalheira's Afonso Moutinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Nogueira in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Moutinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Afonso Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Nogueira in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Simoes FC booed when Soalheira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Morais didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Tomás Bessa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Afonso Moutinho skillfully saved the ball. In the 38th minute Pedro Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Moutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that José Queirós's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonso Moutinho was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When Pedro Mota fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soalheira's protests and gave Pedro Mota a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Pedro Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Soalheira getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. António Moura hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when José Queirós made the kick off in the second half. Artur Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Vítor Setúbal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soalheira. If João Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Mota was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Pedro Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, Simoes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Queirós to maneuver through the defense. If Artur Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Setúbal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Morais in the 82nd minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Nogueira couldn't finish the play.
