Magueija FC's Alexandre Moniz got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albertino Faro made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Alexandre Moniz sent off a good shot on target. Vítor Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. José Pedroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Perozinho. 87 minutes into the match, Duarte Simões had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Pedroso. Magueija FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duarte Simões was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
