Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Amílcar Gonçalves started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cristóvão Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Pedroso in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Miguel Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sambada's Amílcar Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Trindade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Campos in the 13th minute of the match. If Amílcar Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 17th minute, but Cristóvão Torres got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Sambada hanging dry this time. Afonso Coimbra struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Cristóvão Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niza. Amílcar Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Campos in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Trindade saved Niza from getting behind. Gaspar Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sambada's Amílcar Gonçalves in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Niza's goalie prevented a goal. 40 minutes into the match, Niza's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Campos came free, but Paulo Trindade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sambada's Gaspar Campos got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 50 minutes, Alfredo Pedroso took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cristóvão Torres to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Alfredo Pedroso scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristóvão Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th match minute, Sambada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Marques to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When António Coimbra fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niza's protests and gave António Coimbra a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Niza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Coimbra to maneuver through the defense. Sambada's Cristóvão Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Pedroso in the 75th minute of play. Niza's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vasco Pacheco in the 77th minute. After 79 minutes of play, Niza's Afonso Coimbra made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristóvão Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amílcar Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Afonso Coimbra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristóvão Torres was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Cristóvão Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Coimbra in the 88th minute of play. Afonso Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Torres having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Niza fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sambada had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
