Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Afonso Ramos started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Aredes FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Alexandre Pedroso hit a great ball. Moitinhos FC's Gaspar Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rui Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Carneiro having to interfere. Afonso Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Santos having to interfere. Diogo Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Cruz in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Moitinhos FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fernando Cruz hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Rui Cruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diogo Carneiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Bento Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Diogo Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Santos made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Gaspar Torres sent off a good shot on target. Aredes FC's Abel Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Aredes FC from getting a goal against them. Gaspar Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Santos having to interfere. The Moitinhos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aredes FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rui Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. Abel Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Aredes FC's zone, Gaspar Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Santos came out of the goal and Gaspar Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rui Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Aredes FC's Gil Miranda got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Gaspar Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the game, Armando Campos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diogo Carneiro. Armando Campos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Rui Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diogo Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Miguel Aguiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moitinhos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aredes FC the free kick. Miguel Aguiar hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Diogo Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Cruz in the 88th minute of the match.
