Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jorge Almeida started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Aredes FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Rui Cruz hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Aredes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Almeida came free, but Abel Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Lorvao! In the 25th minute Jorge Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Gaspar Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Lorvao's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. If Carlos Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Santos was a little too slow when Jorge Almeida got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Lorvao's Jorge Almeida slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abel Santos. That made the score 2-1 after 41 minutes of play. Lourenço Gonçalves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abel Esteves. SC Lorvao's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Cruz was the one to do the kick off. If Gaspar Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58thth minute of the game Carlos Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aredes FC's Abel Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Almeida scored 3-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute Rui Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Jaime Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, SC Lorvao's Abel Esteves got control of the ball when Bento Coelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Santos having to interfere. Aredes FC's Abel Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Almeida in the 82nd minute of play. SC Lorvao's Gaspar Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastião Guarda charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastião Guarda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Bento Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, SC Lorvao's Joaquim Amaral got a free kick in the 96th minute. Bento Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Abel Esteves made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Lorvao fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aredes FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
