Vicente Guarda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SC Sernadinha's Artur Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duarte Santarém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Alves in the 98th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
