Bruno Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Faria in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Lalim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Tavares came free, but Bruno Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Leal hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lalim FC's zone, Hugo Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Castro came out of the goal and Hugo Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Tavares in the 27th minute of the match. Bento Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Albertino Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Leal struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Albertino Ribeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lalim FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Soares in the 45th minute of play forced Cornalheira FC's goalkeeper Albertino Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Tavares made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Cornalheira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Leal came free, but Albertino Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Santos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. Cornalheira FC's Hugo Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Cláudio Amaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lalim FC! 73 minutes into the game, Rafael Branco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cornalheira FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lalim FC the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Rafael Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emanuel Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cornalheira FC booed when Lalim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Cornalheira FC's Bruno Castro threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hugo Tavares, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 80th minute Hugo Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lalim FC's zone, Paulo Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Castro came out of the goal and Paulo Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Hugo Tavares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Castro, 1-3. With an all-out effort, Cornalheira FC's Bruno Castro threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hugo Tavares, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 97th minute, Alexandre Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Faria in the 100th minute. Cornalheira FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
