Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cláudio Oliveira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Finzes FC's Abel Pedroso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Finzes FC from getting a goal against them. Ovoa FC's Cláudio Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 9 minutes, Cláudio Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ovoa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cláudio Oliveira fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ovoa FC's protests and gave Cláudio Oliveira a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Finzes FC booed when Ovoa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastião Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inácio Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Oliveira in the 23rd minute of play forced Finzes FC's goalkeeper Abel Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cláudio Oliveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Pedroso was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Ovoa FC's Mário Carvalho got a free kick in the 27th minute. Catarino Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Valente got free with Abel Pedroso in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luís Valente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abel Pedroso having to make a save. Abel Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Oliveira in the 37th minute of play. The Finzes FC fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Finzes FC's Catarino Simões looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pedro Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Luís Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastião Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catarino Simões in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Ovoa FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Macedo. After 62 minutes Ovoa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Setúbal who took care of the corner kick. Finzes FC's Jorge Setúbal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebastião Valente in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Ovoa FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mário Carvalho hit a great ball. Inácio Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Inácio Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catarino Simões received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastião Valente came out and tried to block the shot, but Catarino Simões slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Valente in the 80th minute of play forced Finzes FC's goalkeeper Abel Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Catarino Simões fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 91 played minutes Ovoa FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Borges. Luís Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Abel Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Luís Valente took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Pedroso. Abel Pedroso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Finzes FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Finzes FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
