Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Jorge Trindade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Pedroso. Finzes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Trindade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 7th match minute, SC Calicas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Setúbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 10 minutes, Domingos Campos made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Finzes FC's Abel Pedroso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Inácio Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute Catarino Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílcar Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Setúbal's late challenge caught a SC Calicas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Setúbal helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Finzes FC! João Azevedo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Inácio Pinheiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Amílcar Torres made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Inácio Pinheiro sent off a good shot on target. Oliveira Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oliveira Reis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Calicas getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Oliveira Reis hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingos Campos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nuno Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Torres having to interfere. A collision led to SC Calicas getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jorge Trindade hit a great ball. Amílcar Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catarino Simões in the 57th minute of the match. Oliveira Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Finzes FC's Inácio Pinheiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amílcar Torres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Finzes FC booed when SC Calicas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inácio Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Amílcar Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Finzes FC. When Inácio Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Finzes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. Inácio Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Amílcar Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Finzes FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Amadeu Moura hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Finzes FC's goalkeeper Abel Pedroso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliveira Reis. If Oliveira Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Nuno Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Pedroso made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Oliveira Reis sent off a good shot on target.
