Lucas Henriques kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rui Leite during the 10th minute. Lourenço Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Nogueira in the 41st minute of play. Lourenço Pedrosos short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Lourenço Gueifão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lourenço Gueifão was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Adelino Nogueira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adelino Nogueira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adelino Nogueira was the one to do the kick off. SC Burgueiros were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after SC Usseira's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alberto Pereira took the corner. SC Burgueiros's Alberto Pereira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lourenço Gueifão in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 54 minutes into the match, Adelino Nogueira notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of SC Usseira's Lourenço Gueifão. In the 92nd minute, Alberto Pereira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Usseira's Lourenço Gueifão didn't even have to move. Lourenço Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Gueifão having to interfere. In the 97th minute Adelino Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Gueifão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
