Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Delgado started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Barreiria FC. Tiago Paiva stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving André Resende. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Delgado in the 9th minute of play forced Barreiria FC's goalkeeper José Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Delgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Delgado struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. José Henriques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ota FC. After a defensive mix-up in Barreiria FC's zone, Manuel Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Henriques came out of the goal and Manuel Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Delgado in the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Delgado in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Henriques saved Barreiria FC from getting behind. Vasco Pinheiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, André Resende skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jorge Jesus's late challenge caught a Barreiria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Jesus helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ota FC's Jorge Jesus got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ota FC's André Resende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Barros in the 29th minute of play. If Manuel Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Santarém kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Cristiano Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Delgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Henriques having to make a save. If Vasco Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Barros to make the kick off. Barreiria FC's José Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Delgado in the 51st minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Barreiria FC's goalkeeper José Henriques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Melo. Manuel Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute of the match, Manuel Delgado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but José Henriques saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 66 minutes into the match, Cristiano Melo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Barreiria FC's José Henriques. José Henriques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Barreiria FC's David Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Resende came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Barreiria FC's Vasco Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Vasco Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If David Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Pedro Henriques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Barreiria FC's Tiago Paiva tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Barreiria FC booed when Ota FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
