Sebastião Pires was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. André Delgado hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastião Pires showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SC Carragozela's André Resende got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Heitor Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, SC Freixedelo's goal looked a bit too open when André Resende came free, but Sebastião Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute André Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélder Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. David Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Hélder Henriques could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which David Lopes however easily saved by the left post. David Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Baptista in the 37th minute of play. SC Freixedelo's Sebastião Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Resende in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Baptista made a kick off. David Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Baptista in the 57th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, André Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Freixedelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hélder Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. David Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Carragozela's Manuel Jesus got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, André Baptista notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SC Carragozela's David Lopes. David Lopes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Resende could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Sebastião Pires made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Heitor Bessa took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Sebastião Pires to make any attempt to save it. Sebastião Pires made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when André Resende sent off a good shot on target. Hélder Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. David Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adelino Barbosa hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The SC Carragozela players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Freixedelo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
