Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Nogueira started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the game, Paulo Maia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vítor Soares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedro Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Amílcar Mota made a huge save. Pedro Leal might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vítor Soares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Leal ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Torres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vítor Soares was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, SC Gafete's Afonso Castro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The supporters of SC Carvalhal booed when SC Gafete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Assunção didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Gafete's Vítor Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Torres in the 33rd minute of play. Vítor Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Rodrigo Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Amílcar Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Gafete. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Paulo Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Carvalhal's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Torres to make the kick off. José Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 played minutes, SC Carvalhal's Catarino Cruz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vítor Soares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Carvalhal reached it. The supporters of SC Carvalhal booed when SC Gafete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amílcar Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Nogueira in the 65th minute of play. José Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Mota having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, SC Gafete's Pedro Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amílcar Mota narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SC Carvalhal's Amílcar Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Nogueira in the 89th minute of play. The SC Carvalhal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
