Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sebastião Esteves started the match with the kick off. Joaquim Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Emanuel Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cristiano Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Pinheiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Veiga couldn't finish the play. If Joaquim Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristiano Veiga struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Bento Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinheiro FC. If Joaquim Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Soutelo's Bento Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Veiga in the 41st minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusébio Jesus was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Oliveira Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pinheiro FC's Cristóvão Castro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bento Brito but with some difficulty. A collision led to SC Soutelo getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Viriato Leal hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Mário Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66thth minute of the game Sebastião Esteves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Soutelo's Bento Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Joaquim Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristóvão Castro, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Emanuel Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Jesus in the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pinheiro FC's Jorge Leiria got a free kick in the 78th minute. Alexandre Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pinheiro FC's Emanuel Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Ramos in the 86th minute of play. When Alexandre Castro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. The supporters of SC Soutelo booed when Pinheiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
