Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joaquim Machado started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Calvino's Emílio Valente got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Pedro Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Samo's Daniel Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Samo's Joaquim Machado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Paiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 15th minute, Joaquim Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Samo's zone, José Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Neves came out of the goal and José Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Alexandre Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Esteves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alexandre Neves came out and tried to block the shot, but Ricardo Esteves slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 23rd minute. Cristiano Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Calvino's Emílio Valente got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Bernardo Neves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Paiva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Calvino's zone, Joaquim Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Paiva came out of the goal and Joaquim Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Esteves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Neves came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Calvino's José Gaspar. But to his dismay, José Gaspar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Joaquim Machado fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samo's protests and gave Joaquim Machado a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Calvino booed when Samo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Armando Paiva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Daniel Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Dantas charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Dantas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pedro Dantas hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Armando Paiva was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bernardo Neves. After a rather tough play, SC Calvino's José Paredes got a free kick in the 95th minute. Daniel Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Paiva having to interfere. Samo were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing SC Calvino to leave the ground with a draw.
