The referee ignored Samo's protests and gave Adolfo Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Samo getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Adolfo Teixeira hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Fábio Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Nadadouro FC booed when Samo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gil Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Machado in the 56th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Daniel Viana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gil Barros was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Nadadouro FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Samo were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
