Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernando Assis started the match with the kick off. Carlos Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Nunes having to interfere. Carlos Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Adelino Fontes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gil Nunes. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Rodrigo Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Assis in the 19th minute of the match. Rodrigo Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Delgado in the 25th minute of play. Gil Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Pires in the 26th minute of play. Carlos Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Nunes having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Adelino Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avessada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelino Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lamacais FC's zone, Carlos Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Nunes came out of the goal and Carlos Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Pires to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Lamacais FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Pires came free, but Gil Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Carlos Lisboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute of the match Alfredo Veiga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gil Nunes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fernando Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 62 minutes into the game, Bernardo Viana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lamacais FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avessada the free kick. Bernardo Viana hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64thth minute of the game Carlos Ribeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lamacais FC's Gil Nunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Pires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Avessada booed when Lamacais FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Bessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st play minute Hélder Delgado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rodrigo Fernandes. 2-1. Carlos Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Nunes having to interfere. A hard shot 85 in the game by Hélder Delgado from a close distance when the talented Rodrigo Fernandes managed to make a qualified save. Avessada's players were relieved. In the 86th match minute, Avessada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Fontes to maneuver through the defense. When Fernando Assis came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Lamacais FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Assis couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Fernando Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lamacais FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Assis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Avessada were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lamacais FC for a fine match.
