Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rui Amaro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Eusébio Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sepeda's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusébio Resende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rui Amaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute Eusébio Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gramas FC's Francisco Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Amaro in the 21st minute of play. José Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Francisco Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio Almeida struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Francisco Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gramas FC. Rui Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Carneiro having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Eusébio Resende cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Francisco Carneiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gramas FC's Francisco Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Resende in the 36th minute of play. Eusébio Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, José Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gramas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Domingues in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Domingues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gramas FC booed when Sepeda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 54 minutes, José Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gramas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute, Vítor Aleixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd match minute, Gramas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Resende might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Carneiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusébio Resende ran back to his position shaking his head. Francisco Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sepeda getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Diogo Nogueira hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Gramas FC's Emílio Leiria broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Henrique Gomes hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Henrique Gomes's late challenge caught a Sepeda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrique Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. Sepeda's Francisco Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Domingues in the 93rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gramas FC's zone, Rui Amaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Carneiro came out of the goal and Rui Amaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
