Manuel Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Baceiros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Santarém came free, but Manuel Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tozeiro's Filipe Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Tozeiro from getting a goal against them. The wind increased when Adelino Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Baceiros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Santarém came free, but Manuel Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Neves's late challenge caught a Tozeiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Neves helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tozeiro booed when Baceiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Tozeiro's Domingos Fontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Branco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 1-1 became the score in the 61st minute when Domingos Fontes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Henrique Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domingos Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Branco made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Domingos Fontes sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute, Baceiros FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Henrique Santarém fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Tozeiro's Inácio Abreu got a free kick in the 78th minute. Manuel Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Santarém in the 85th minute of the match. Filipe Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 92 minutes into the match, José Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filipe Mendes. Tozeiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Adelino Azevedo took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filipe Mendes. Filipe Mendes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Baceiros FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tozeiro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
