Diamantino Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vale in the 9th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, SC Peredo's goal looked a bit too open when José Vale came free, but Diamantino Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Azevedo in the 15th minute of play. If José Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Adelino Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, SC Peredo's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Azevedo came free, but Diamantino Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diamantino Neto having to make a save. Adelino Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diamantino Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adelino Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adelino Azevedo in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diamantino Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adelino Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Diamantino Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Baceiros FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Xavier Guerreiro hit a great ball. If Adelino Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Baceiros FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Santos came free, but Manuel Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Santos struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Manuel Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Peredo. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adelino Azevedo made a kick off. José Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Diamantino Neto made a huge save. SC Peredo's Diamantino Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Azevedo in the 59th minute of play. The attack was good, but when José Vale in the 62nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Mariano Rodrigues's late challenge caught a SC Peredo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mariano Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Peredo booed when Baceiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Heitor Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Santos in the 67th minute of the match. In the 80thth minute of the game Adelino Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Peredo's Diamantino Neto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Peredo's zone, Adelino Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Neto came out of the goal and Adelino Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 91 played minutes SC Peredo got a freekick which was hit by João Santos. When the match was over Baceiros FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Peredo throughout the match.
