Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Inácio Vaz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as Poutena's Tiago Cruz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquim Lima. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. After 6 played minutes Poutena got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Aleixo. Paulo Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Viegas having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Contenca got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Vaz. After a defensive mix-up in Contenca's zone, Nuno Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Lima came out of the goal and Nuno Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nuno Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Joaquim Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Contenca's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Cruz came free, but Joaquim Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the game, Miguel Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poutena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Contenca the free kick. Miguel Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Tiago Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Lima having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Sandro Ferreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poutena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Contenca the free kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiago Cruz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulo Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Lima having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Veiga in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquim Lima saved Contenca from getting behind. Joaquim Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Cruz in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Tiago Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Joaquim Lima. Contenca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Cruz in the 85th minute of play forced Contenca's goalkeeper Joaquim Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Joaquim Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Contenca's zone, Tiago Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Lima came out of the goal and Tiago Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Poutena's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
