With a little luck, Donas's Simão Freitas got control of the ball when Cristiano Viana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Domingos Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Cristiano Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Sousa hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Jorge Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Miranda in the 21st minute of play forced SC Panque's goalkeeper Domingos Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simão Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Domingues in the 24th minute of play. Donas's Simão Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Domingues in the 26th minute of play. Jorge Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simão Freitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Viana in the 36th minute. Cristiano Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simão Freitas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Donas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Manuel Domingues fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cristiano Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Simão Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Barros was the one to do the kick off. Eusébio Cunha's late challenge caught a Donas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusébio Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Donas booed when SC Panque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Joaquim Alves fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Donas's protests and gave Joaquim Alves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, Donas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Alves to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, SC Panque's Rogério Delgado broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Simão Freitas came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Panque's Manuel Domingues. But to his dismay, Manuel Domingues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 74th minute Manuel Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 played minutes, Donas's António Setúbal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Domingos Queirós came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Donas reached it. Jorge Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Queirós having to interfere. The supporters of Donas booed when SC Panque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Jorge Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Donas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Gaspar's late challenge caught a Donas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspar Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes SC Panque got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Cunha. When Gaspar Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Donas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Miranda couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jorge Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Donas's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Panque had won after a very even match.
