Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlos Leão got the match started through his kick off. José Coimbra might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nuno Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Coimbra ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of SC Canove booed when Fradeira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Bessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Fradeira FC's goalkeeper Catarino Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Viana. A hard shot 20 in the game by Pedro Viana from a close distance when the talented Catarino Cunha managed to make a qualified save. Fradeira FC's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Melo during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexandre Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Nuno Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Coimbra in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Reis in the 27th minute of play forced Fradeira FC's goalkeeper Catarino Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nuno Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Viana got free with Catarino Cunha in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Fradeira FC defense, Sandro Reis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Catarino Cunha. The Fradeira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Catarino Cunha should have stopped the shot. Nuno Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Coimbra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Canove's Pedro Viana was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 48th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Carlos Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Lima having to interfere. In the 56th minute, SC Canove's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after José Coimbra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 57 minutes, Pedro Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Canove's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Carlos Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Nuno Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Fradeira FC got a freekick which was hit by David Aleixo. The audience was convinced that Sandro Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Catarino Cunha was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, SC Canove's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Leão came free, but Nuno Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Canove's Nuno Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save SC Canove from getting a goal against them. Pedro Viana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Catarino Cunha having to make a save. 83 minutes into the game, Abel Faro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fradeira FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Canove the free kick. Abel Faro hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. José Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Nuno Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Leão in the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Canove fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fradeira FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
