The audience was convinced that Domingos Miranda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Cunha was relentless in the 2nd minute of the game. In the 4th minute Luís Amaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Guedelhas FC's Alfredo Freitas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, SC Peao's goalkeeper Tiago Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Freitas. Luís Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Eusébio Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Cunha having to interfere. Tiago Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Miranda's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Alfredo Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luís Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd match minute, SC Peao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Ferro to maneuver through the defense. Domingos Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Cunha having to interfere.

After 52 played minutes SC Peao got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Porto. After a defensive mix-up in Guedelhas FC's zone, Luís Amaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Vale came out of the goal and Luís Amaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusébio Vale made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Manuel Delgado sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Guedelhas FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Viriato Garcia hit a great ball. Armindo Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Freitas in the 67th minute of play forced SC Peao's goalkeeper Tiago Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, one of SC Peao:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Peao. Domingos Miranda struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Tiago Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guedelhas FC. Humberto Moura's late challenge caught a SC Peao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Moura helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Humberto Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Eusébio Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute of the match, Luís Amaro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eusébio Vale saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Manuel Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Guedelhas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Amaro came free, but Eusébio Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Peao's zone, Alfredo Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Cunha came out of the goal and Alfredo Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Peao's Tiago Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Miranda in the 94th minute of play. Manuel Delgado came free with the goalkeeper in the 97th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eusébio Vale could save by the left post. In the 98th match minute, Guedelhas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Garcia to maneuver through the defense.
