Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vítor Gonçalves kicked off to start the match. Filipe Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Diogo Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipe Nunes in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diogo Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joaquim Reis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vítor Queirós read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Romao's Carlos Marques got a free kick in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Barrellas FC's Afonso Pinheiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Hugo Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Vítor Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Diogo Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romao. 20 minutes into the match, Romao's Vítor Gonçalves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diogo Pinheiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Romao booed when Barrellas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vítor Gonçalves in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diogo Pinheiro saved Barrellas FC from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Joaquim Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Gonçalves in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. When Hugo Brás fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrellas FC's protests and gave Hugo Brás a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Romao booed when Barrellas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diogo Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Romao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Barrellas FC's zone, Vítor Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Pinheiro came out of the goal and Vítor Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Reis was the one to do the kick off. Vítor Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Diogo Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Filipe Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Romao booed when Barrellas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Resende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barrellas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Vítor Gonçalves scored to the left of an out of position Diogo Pinheiro, making the score, 0-1. Vítor Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Torres's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Filipe Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Diogo Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filipe Nunes got free with Diogo Pinheiro in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vítor Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Diogo Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romao. Diogo Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Gonçalves in the 88th minute of play. If Hugo Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Reis in the 93rd minute of play. Joaquim Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Queirós having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Romao had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
