SC Bajouco's Rafael Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Nunes in the 5th minute of play. Rafael Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Filipe Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Vítor Gonçalves in the 10th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 15th minute, Humberto Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basílio Vieira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vítor Queirós. Romao's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Romao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Ricardo Macedo scored to the left of an out of position Vítor Queirós, making the score, 1-0. Ricardo Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Queirós having to interfere. If Amílcar Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, SC Bajouco's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Gonçalves came free, but Rafael Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romao's Vítor Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Romao from getting a goal against them. Vítor Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Rafael Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
After 53 played minutes SC Bajouco got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Barbosa. After recieving a nice pass, Romao's Humberto Abreu tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. SC Bajouco's Amílcar Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st match minute, Romao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Marques to maneuver through the defense. Amílcar Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Bajouco. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Bajouco had played much better football throughout.
