Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Quiaios's Rui Amorim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rui Amorim had several of the Ras FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Hugo Valente as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ricardo Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Magalhães's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Rui Amorim got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Vicente Machado came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Quiaios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Machado couldn't finish the play. Viriato Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ricardo Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quiaios's Ricardo Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Cabral in the 22nd minute of play. Hugo Valente made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Vicente Machado sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, Viriato Cabral notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Quiaios's Ricardo Porto. Ricardo Porto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Óscar Rocha hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Ras FC's Nuno Freitas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Quiaios. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Magalhães in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Porto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rui Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 1-2 when David Magalhães sped through Quiaios's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Porto. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Magalhães to make the kick off. If David Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Amorim in the 61st minute of the match. After 62 minutes, Rogério Campos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ras FC and the Quiaios players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Ras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Campos to maneuver through the defense. Viriato Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ricardo Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Amorim in the 67th minute of the match. Gabriel Machado hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Amorim in the 72nd minute of play forced Ras FC's goalkeeper Hugo Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ras FC's Hugo Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Amorim in the 73rd minute of play. Gabriel Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Ricardo Porto stood somewhat misplaced when Viriato Cabral came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 87 minute. In the 90th minute, David Magalhães reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ricardo Porto. The goal made the score 1-4. In the 95th minute David Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Magalhães in the 96th minute of play. A collision led to Quiaios getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. António Fontes hit a great ball. Ricardo Porto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nuno Freitas. The Quiaios supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ras FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ras FC.
