Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ricardo Ferreira started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Caroceiras FC's Diamantino Martins got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Ricardo Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ricardo Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Neves made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Vicente Machado sent off a good shot on target. Alexandre Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Machado in the 15th minute. Alexandre Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ricardo Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Trindade in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Rui Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Quiaios's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Ferreira came free, but Ricardo Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Baptista in the 38th minute of play forced Quiaios's goalkeeper Ricardo Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 played minutes, Quiaios's António Fontes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexandre Neves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quiaios reached it. Caroceiras FC's Ricardo Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Amorim was the one to do the kick off. Ricardo Porto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vítor Trindade in the 52nd minute. Quiaios's Ricardo Porto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Quiaios from getting a goal against them. Vicente Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Neves having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Caroceiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Amorim came free, but Alexandre Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Miguel Gomes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caroceiras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quiaios the free kick. Miguel Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caroceiras FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute Ricardo Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Ferreira in the 69th minute of the match. Caroceiras FC's Alexandre Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Amorim in the 71st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Baptista during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Caroceiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Baptista to maneuver through the defense. During the 73rd minute of the match Miguel Gomes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Miguel Gomes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 74th minute, Miguel Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 77 minutes, Rui Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quiaios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Delgado charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Delgado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, Quiaios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Delgado to maneuver through the defense. Vítor Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Porto having to interfere. Vítor Trindade struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ricardo Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caroceiras FC. Alexandre Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Amorim in the 95th minute of play. Caroceiras FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
