With a little luck, Calvos's Gil Lima got control of the ball when Jorge Amaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Lanheses getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Lanheses's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 34th minute, Manuel Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gil Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes Lanheses got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Setúbal. Lanheses's Jorge Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diogo Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Campos having to interfere.
In the 58th match minute, Calvos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Morais to maneuver through the defense. Lanheses's Jorge Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calvos's João Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Campos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Ferro in the 74th minute of the match. João Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Campos having to interfere. João Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Manuel Moura fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calvos's protests and gave Manuel Moura a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Manuel Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Rafael Fonseca notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Calvos's Gil Lima. Gil Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Cristiano Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Jorge Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanheses's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Amaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rafael Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jorge Garcia's late challenge caught a Calvos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Garcia helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lanheses getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jorge Garcia hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Calvos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lanheses.
