João Rocha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonso Lopes went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Diogo Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Fernando Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Brás, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Diogo Brás's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, SC Argomil's Diogo Brás nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 23 minutes of play, SC Argomil's Adolfo Leão made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Garcia was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, SC Argomil's João Rocha got control of the ball when Afonso Lopes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 36 played minutes SC Argomil got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Ferreira. Luís Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Rocha having to interfere. João Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Freitas in the 39th minute of the match. Luís Freitas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised João Rocha 41 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Diogo Brás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Leão in the 46th minute of play. Diogo Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Argomil's goalkeeper João Rocha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. João Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luís Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Atouguia FC's António Campos got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Adolfo Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Bernardo Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Atouguia FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. André Matias hit a great ball. After 86 minutes Atouguia FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mário Fonseca who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Mário Fonseca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fernando Garcia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
