Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carlos Cunha started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. José Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When Augusto Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Pirraca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Moreira couldn't finish the play. Cristiano Vaz hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Alfredo Anjos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pirraca FC's Nuno Macedo didn't even have to move. With his leg Nuno Macedo managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Surgacaes's Cristiano Luz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristiano Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute of the match Alfredo Anjos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuno Macedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 27th minute, Augusto Simões left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Surgacaes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Cristiano Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surgacaes's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Augusto Simões kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nuno Macedo. That made the score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Augusto Simões made the kick off in the second half. Nuno Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Surgacaes booed when Pirraca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Nuno Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Augusto Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Pirraca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Luz came free, but Nuno Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Macedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Simões went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute, Augusto Simões ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuno Macedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When Surgacaes's Augusto Simões in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pirraca FC's goalie prevented a goal. Surgacaes's José Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Surgacaes from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Cunha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José Mendes. That made the score 4-1 in the 92 minute of play. Surgacaes's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
