After some careless play in the SC Estanque defense, Rui Correia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Rodrigues. The SC Estanque fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Rodrigues should have stopped the shot. Xavier Pedroso charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xavier Pedroso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, SC Abraa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SC Abraa's Armando Barbosa got a free kick in the 44th minute. A collision led to SC Abraa getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ricardo Gaspar hit a great ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Daniel Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Estanque's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Pinheiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Américo Lisboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rui Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. Heitor Gomes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 67th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Heitor Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Rodrigues having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Ricardo Correia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Estanque fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. After 85 played minutes SC Estanque got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Lopes. Daniel Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Abraa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
