Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sandiaes's Henrique Baptista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sandiaes's goalkeeper Diogo Leiria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Assunção in the 7th minute of play forced SC Curveira's goalkeeper Joaquim Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Curveira's Inácio Henriques got a free kick in the 13th minute. Jorge Brito hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The supporters of SC Curveira booed when Sandiaes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diogo Leiria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Viegas in the 23rd minute of the match. Jorge Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, SC Curveira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 28 minutes, Diamantino Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandiaes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Assis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jorge Brito came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Sandiaes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Brito couldn't finish the play. After 33 minutes of play, SC Curveira's Joaquim Leiria made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diogo Leiria was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diogo Leiria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Viegas in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sandiaes's Inácio Aguiar got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute, Alexandre Viegas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquim Leiria's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Diogo Leiria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Henrique Baptista might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquim Freitas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrique Baptista ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Assunção sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Alexandre Viegas made the kick off in the second half. Henrique Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Sandiaes booed when SC Curveira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Curveira's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Henrique Baptista scored to the left of an out of position Joaquim Freitas, making the score, 1-1. In the 64th minute, Jorge Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno Coelho charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno Coelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sandiaes booed when SC Curveira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When Paulo Assunção came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Sandiaes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Assunção couldn't finish the play. In the 77th match minute, SC Curveira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Henriques to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Assunção recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute, Paulo Assunção left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandiaes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Sandiaes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
