Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Pinho kicked off to start the match. Rodrigo Pereira hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Fernando Correia's late challenge caught a Bracos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Correia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Praia's Fernando Correia got a free kick in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Alberto Melo could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Adelino Pinheiro however easily saved by the left post. Rodrigo Pereira hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Bracos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Gomes came free, but Américo Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bracos FC's Alberto Melo got a free kick in the 13th minute. Paulo Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Correia having to interfere. Paulo Costa struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Américo Correia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Praia. Paulo Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Américo Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Bracos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Porto to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute of the match João Paiva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Américo Correia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Pinho during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Carlos Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Carlos Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albertino Assunção charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albertino Assunção the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Praia's Albertino Assunção got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Bracos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Gomes came free, but Américo Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bracos FC booed when Praia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Assunção didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Adelino Pinheiro managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Bracos FC's Alberto Melo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Paulo Costa made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Pinheiro having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Pinho in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adelino Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Adelino Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Praia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by João Paiva in the 65th minute. After taking down the ball on Praia's corner João Paiva fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Américo Correia quite easily take care of the ball. Carlos Pinho took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adelino Pinheiro. Adelino Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alberto Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Paulo Costa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Américo Correia, passed just outside the right post. 82 minutes into the match, Bracos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Pereira came free, but Américo Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bracos FC's goalkeeper Américo Correia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Bracos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paulo Costa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Bracos FC's zone, Paulo Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Américo Correia came out of the goal and Paulo Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If José Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bracos FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Amadeu Cardoso hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Praia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bracos FC.
