Cândido Figueiredo came out of the goal and Francisco Guarda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emílio Pereira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Diamantino Dantas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Cardoso in the 84th minute of play forced SC Vodra's goalkeeper Diamantino Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Vodra's Diamantino Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Cardoso in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emílio Pereira got free with Diamantino Dantas in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
