After a defensive mix-up in SC Tourinhas's zone, Raul Guarda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Antunes came out of the goal and Raul Guarda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th match minute, SC Vodra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Castro to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristiano Branco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Cristiano Branco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diamantino Dantas. Cristiano Branco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 56th minute, Miguel Guerreiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Pedro Faro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Raul Guarda put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquim Antunes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Faro got free with Diamantino Dantas in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Guarda in the 75th minute of play forced SC Tourinhas's goalkeeper Joaquim Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mário Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mário Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The SC Vodra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. SC Vodra were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
