Manuel Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Guerreiro in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th match minute, Adgiraldo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Mendes to maneuver through the defense. When Rodrigo Faro came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Adgiraldo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Faro couldn't finish the play. In the 9thth minute of the game Carlos Guerreiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Adgiraldo FC's Manuel Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Guerreiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes Adgiraldo FC got a freekick which was hit by António Abreu. If Carlos Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Carlos Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 played minutes SC Pedrome got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Araújo. 38 minutes into the match, Adgiraldo FC's Jaime Lima broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to SC Pedrome getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Joaquim Fernandes hit a great ball. Rodrigo Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Guerreiro was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Vicente Araújo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. When David Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Pedrome's protests and gave David Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes SC Pedrome got a freekick which was hit by David Nunes. Carlos Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Gomes in the 74th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, SC Pedrome's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Faro came free, but Carlos Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
