Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Abreu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Daniel Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rogério Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game Vasco Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reborido's Rogério Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. João Gaspar took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Cunha. Rogério Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 23rd minute João Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Praya's Hélder Melo got a free kick in the 25th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Reborido's goal looked a bit too open when João Gaspar came free, but Rogério Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viriato Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Abreu in the 35th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Daniel Abreu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viriato Nogueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 40 minutes into the match, Rui Monteiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viriato Nogueira. Praya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Monteiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 44th minute, Rui Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Reborido's zone, João Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Cunha came out of the goal and João Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

After 52 minutes, Fernando Porto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reborido and the Praya players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Fernando Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Praya's goalkeeper Viriato Nogueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reborido's Rui Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Borba kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When Vasco Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Praya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasco Almeida couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Rogério Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Almeida in the 72nd minute of play. If Rui Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77thth minute of the game Rui Monteiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Praya's Viriato Nogueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Hélder Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Viriato Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Praya's Vasco Almeida ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rogério Cunha. Rogério Cunha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. 95 minutes into the match, Reborido's goal looked a bit too open when Vasco Almeida came free, but Rogério Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Praya players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Reborido.
