Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when José Dantas made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Achadinha FC! The referee gave Sonim FC a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jorge Pedroso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Achadinha FC's Cristiano Oliveira. 1-0. António Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Anjos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Sonim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Coelho came free, but António Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. António Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Anjos in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Carlos Ferro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Miguel Coelho came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Achadinha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Coelho couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Achadinha FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Lima. In the 41st minute, Sonim FC's José Dantas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristiano Oliveira. Cristiano Oliveira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 45th minute, Filipe Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hélder Anjos shot a long shot in the 46th minute and a light blocked António Valente hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Anjos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Jorge Pedroso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristiano Oliveira skillfully saved the ball. Joaquim Gaspar charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Gaspar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joaquim Gaspar hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Cristiano Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Achadinha FC's Cristiano Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Lima in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Coelho got free with António Valente in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquim Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Achadinha FC's zone, Adolfo Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Oliveira came out of the goal and Adolfo Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. António Valente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Coelho in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the Achadinha FC defense, José Dantas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristiano Oliveira. The Achadinha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristiano Oliveira should have stopped the shot. When José Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Sonim FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Dantas couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Lima in the 90th minute of the match. Joaquim Anjos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. António Valente came out and tried to block the shot, but Joaquim Anjos slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 93rd minute. Sonim FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
