Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bruno Cunha got the match started through his kick off. António Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Veiga having to interfere. Oliveira Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Pacheco in the 6th minute of play. If Delfim Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Cruz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 11th playminute. In the 20th minute, Nuno Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliveira Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes Pereiros got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Morais. Rodrigo Veiga made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when António Cruz sent off a good shot on target. SC Grijo's Eusébio Pacheco got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, one of SC Grijo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Grijo. Rodrigo Veiga had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Cristóvão Henriques's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of Pereiros booed when SC Grijo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusébio Pacheco to strike the kick off in the second half. When António Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Pereiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Cruz couldn't finish the play. In the 57thth minute of the game Bruno Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Grijo's Rodrigo Veiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that António Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Veiga was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 65th minute of the match Alexandre Leite sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oliveira Domingues skillfully saved the ball. SC Grijo's Rodrigo Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Cruz in the 67th minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 72nd minute, but Oliveira Domingues got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Pereiros hanging dry this time. 79 minutes into the match, António Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Veiga. SC Grijo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that António Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Bruno Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pereiros's Oliveira Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Pacheco in the 87th minute of play. Oliveira Domingues was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eusébio Pacheco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 91 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Macedo during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
