Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Tonda's Rogério Torres started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vicente Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Pinho came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Casinhas's Daniel Aleixo. But to his dismay, Daniel Aleixo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. SC Tonda's Artur Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Barbosa in the 11th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Casinhas got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Gonçalves. Joaquim Miranda was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Adolfo Delgado. 21 minutes into the game, Amílcar Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casinhas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Tonda the free kick. After 21 played minutes Casinhas got a freekick which was hit by Amílcar Baptista. Adolfo Delgado, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Daniel Aleixo sped through SC Tonda's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artur Pinho. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Barbosa in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Casinhas's Joaquim Miranda got control of the ball when Tomás Garcia tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Vítor Dantas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Tonda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casinhas the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in SC Tonda's zone, Vicente Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Pinho came out of the goal and Vicente Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Barbosa in the 44th minute of play forced SC Tonda's goalkeeper Artur Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Casinhas were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Barbosa to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Aleixo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Barbosa in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Pinho saved SC Tonda from getting behind. Artur Pinho was a little too slow when Daniel Aleixo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-4. After a rather tough play, Casinhas's Cristiano Araújo got a free kick in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Tomás Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Tonda's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Aleixo got free with Artur Pinho in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicente Barbosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Artur Pinho came out and tried to block the shot, but Vicente Barbosa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 79th minute. In the 85th minute, Casinhas's Vicente Barbosa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Casinhas's goalkeeper Joaquim Miranda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomás Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Joaquim Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casinhas played a much better game than SC Tonda and deserved their victory. The SC Tonda players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
