Rui Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A collision led to Salgueira FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gonçalo Azevedo hit a great ball. Xavier Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Nascimento in the 21st minute of the match. Rui Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Leal in the 24th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Manuel Antunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xavier Gaspar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rui Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Vítor Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Manuel Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Prestimo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Antunes couldn't finish the play. Manuel Antunes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Xavier Gaspar firmly grabbed it by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vítor Nascimento to strike the kick off in the second half. If Manuel Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xavier Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Nascimento in the 55th minute of play. Américo Veiga struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Rui Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salgueira FC. In the 67th minute, Manuel Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Américo Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Salgueira FC's David Dantas got a free kick in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Prestimo FC's goalkeeper Rui Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Américo Veiga. After some careless play in the Salgueira FC defense, Manuel Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavier Gaspar. The Salgueira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavier Gaspar should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Manuel Antunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xavier Gaspar. Salgueira FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Vítor Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prestimo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xavier Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Manuel Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Teixeira hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Hugo Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Prestimo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Leal came free, but Rui Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Prestimo FC had won after a very even match.
