Paulo Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastião Maia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Eduardo Moniz made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Diamantino Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Artur Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Francisco Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Macedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artur Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastião Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Moniz having to interfere. In the 78th minute Carlos Anjos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Moniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Moniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artur Silva got free with Francisco Macedo in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when SC Enxabarda's Paulo Leão in the 93rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Francisco Macedo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Povoas FC through an amazing save. Paulo Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Macedo having to interfere.
