Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alberto Lisboa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cláudio Macedo's late challenge caught a Sobrainho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cláudio Macedo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pinheiro's Cláudio Macedo got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute Fábio Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sobrainho FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Armindo Nascimento hit a great ball. Fábio Faro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Lisboa's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Adelino Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Santos in the 19th minute of play forced Sobrainho FC's goalkeeper Fábio Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armindo Nascimento hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Alberto Lisboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinheiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Lisboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Faro having to interfere. Fábio Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Santos in the 26th minute of play. José Leal struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Adelino Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sobrainho FC. 39 minutes into the match, Pinheiro's Alberto Lisboa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fábio Faro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Sobrainho FC's Adelino Carvalho threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fábio Pinho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Fernandes got free with Adelino Carvalho in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fábio Pinho made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Sobrainho FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Correia. Fábio Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sobrainho FC's Bruno Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cláudio Macedo struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Fábio Faro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinheiro. Fábio Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th match minute, Sobrainho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Fábio Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Lisboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd match minute, Pinheiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Tavares to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Lisboa in the 85th minute of play forced Sobrainho FC's goalkeeper Fábio Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Bessa charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Bessa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. André Bessa hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. João Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Faro having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Sobrainho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Lisboa came free, but Fábio Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Lisboas short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Fábio Faro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 91st minute, Armindo Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pinheiro's Alberto Lisboa in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sobrainho FC's goalie prevented a goal. Bruno Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Adelino Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pinheiro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
